More than just a Lottery

We aim to attract players who are already in the Web3 space, as well as those who are not yet familiar with the space. Everyone at some point in their lives have either purchased a Lottery ticket, or thought about buying one. Regardless of your sentiment regarding the Lottery, there're no debate that every time you buy a ticket, you just gave yourself a chance at changing your life forever!
We invite you all to come play a game you're already familiar with, only this time it'll be on the Blockchain!
Due to the nature of Degen or Bust, we anticipate that we will attract people who who are interested in playing in our Lottery, but might not yet understand what the Blockchain is, or how to even access it. We believe we can use our Lottery to help educate such people. For example, we can write a medium topic on why playing a Lottery on the Blockchain is far better and safer than the traditional Lottery everyone's accustom to. Or better yet, we will make educational videos showing the basics of getting started with Web3 while incorporating a step-by-step guide on how to setup a MetaMask wallet and obtain MATIC in order to play in our Lottery. Learning by doing is fun, and in doing so, the new player to the space will learn of the many benefits Blockchain technology offers, and why it's something they should pay attention to and learn more about on their own time.
Speaking of which, here's a recent video I made showing how you can get involved in our beta testing! ⬇️
Each month the Degen DAO will vote on a new organization to send proceeds to. This is but only one of the many ways we plan to do good with this project, and just by purchasing a ticket to play in Degen or Bust, you're directly contributing to great causes.
For the first month after we launch, we have chosen an org that helps people that were affected by incarceration. We believe that only when a person is empowered to meet their own personal needs do they have the space and time to be of service to others. If a person isn't empowered to fulfill their own needs, they'll eventually be pushed into survivor mode to try and meet those needs, and that can be dangerous because if a person remains in such a state for to long, they'll inevitably become a menace to society. We will take a portion of the profits we make from the Lottery and donate to
to help in their efforts of restoration to those who've experienced incarceration.
